SMR Timber Frame Specialists Ltd has a head office based near Chester. We cover the whole of the North West, and North Wales, providing experienced timber frame erection services for many of the top timber frame companies and housing developers in the UK. The extent of our work can range from large new housing developments to self-builds, extensions, refurbs, cabins, holiday lodges, and commercial properties.

Our erection services are carried out by a select team of SMR-approved timber frame erectors, with proven track records and highly experienced in erecting timber frame products to an impeccable standard. Our services range from structural erecting to roof construction and 1st fix joinery. We are, therefore, able to meet any client needs depending on the stage of the build.

We also appreciate the fact that quality workmanship is paramount and we make sure we continually provide a high level of quality assurance for each project, as well as reassurance and efficiency on site.

Furthermore, with over 23 year’s experience in timber frame erection, we have seen many changes in the industry.   The implementation of Health and Safety Regulations,  the introduction of fully insulated closed panel systems, and floor and roof cassettes, it's become evident that these have dramatically improved safety along with the added benefit of speeding up the timber frame erection time.
